Detailed look: Monica Sneakers ADIDAS YEEZY SLIDE “MX BLACK”

Kanye's adidas Replica Yeezy Slide will feature a new design featuring the "MX Black" marbling design that will become standard on the 350 V2 line

While we’ve only seen standard colorways grace the Replica Yeezy Slide in the past, it looks like Kanye is expanding into uncharted territory with the popular skateboard featuring an “MX” marbled design. Expect the same EVA foam silhouette in a light gray colorblock, with a funky white, gray and black marbled effect throughout the makeover.

As Kanye West continues to appear across the US in all-black outfits, his adidas YEEZY assertion has been seen in more vibrant outfits. While the bold, slip-on "Vermillion" silhouette is expected by the end of October, the new Replica Yeezy SLIDE "MX" brings more variety to a lineup that's been criticized for its tonal offerings. While 'ye's "hybrid" approach to footwear has previously been seen on the YEEZY FOAM RUNNER and YEEZY 350 V2, the newly rumored pair will be the first pair in the popular YZY SLD catalogue.

Similar to previous offerings that boast an abstract layout, the upcoming option indulges in a tan base with dark gray stripes covering the entire body. What appears to be a "Frozen Yellow" accent also appears on the Replica Yeezy collection, but the print stops abruptly on the straps that cover the forefoot upper. While the design choice may just be the result of prototyping, Mr. West may have his reasons for choosing this unconventional layout.
